This lamp produces really only plant spectrum light. Only such LEDs were blocked, which radiate exactly the correct wavelength for the plant stature. A sodium-vapor lamp is good for the plant breeding, since it produces tremendously v i e l light. Only one part of this light (approx. 10%) can be used by the plant, the remainder is wasted energy. In addition a NDL does not convert the entire energy in light. A majority of the energy is converted into waste heat. An LED lamp does not make this.
